Little Pebble Farm is expanding! We are actively looking to add a Saturday Farmers’ Market manager to the crew. This job requires your time 9am to 2pm on Saturdays, June through September.
Little Pebble Farm is a small woman-run, no-spray, ecologically mindful flower farm in Wurtsboro, New York. The farm is run by me, Kelly. I strive to create an enjoyable working environment where team members can grow personally and professionally and enjoy the flowers all the while.
This position is for our Saturday Farmers’ Market in Rock Hill, NY, with potential to work another day on the farm if desired. The job requires you to have your own vehicle. The morning will start at 9am when you arrive at the farm to pick up mixed and single variety bouquets at 9am. You’ll drive 15 minutes to the Rock Hill Farmers’ Market, set up the tent and display the arrangements. The farmers’ market is 3 hours, from 10am to 1pm. During which you will interact with customers, answer questions about flower varieties and our on-farm events. After breaking down you can return any leftover bouquets and empty buckets to the farm.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Love of flowers is a must! And personable demeanor. You’ll be chatting and working with the public for 3 hours.

Some knowledge about and interest in flowers
Enthusiasm, open-mindedness, positive attitude
Ability to do simple math and record purchases
Ability to communicate in English
Able to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
Able to be on your feet for the entire market
Interest in organic and sustainable growing practices
Attention to detail, ability to follow directions closely, and good work ethic
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
Hourly pay is $17/hour. Schedule is Saturdays June-September 9am-2pm. Additional workdays available if interested.
